Peach State Cuts Ribbon on Branch Reopening

AUGUSTA, Ga.–Peach State Federal Credit Union hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the grand reopening of its branch located at the Richmond County Board of Education (RCBOE). Local officials, credit union staff and community leaders were in attendance for the ribbon cutting.

The branch went through a full renovation over the winter break and officially reopened. This full service branch location features a state of the art teller pod with the goal of providing faster, more efficient service to members.

The Richmond County School System has enjoyed a long relationship with Peach State, the credit union said. The branch offers a convenient place for the Board of Education staff and visitors to bank.

“Having a branch inside our building is an added benefit for our staff and I know they will love this new, efficient space,” said Dr. Angela Pringle, superintendent of Richmond County Schools

“We wanted the renovation to not only give the branch a more modern feel, but also open up the space, and make it feel more inviting.  The branch is staffed by the same great team to help members with all of their financial needs, and assist them with selecting the right products and services.” said Peach State’s Senior Vice President of Branch Operations Crystal Schmidt. “Our employees are thrilled with the bright, open space, and we know the members will appreciate it as well.”
