FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn.--Abby Patterson has been promoted to Giving Coordinator at Spire CU.
In this new role for SPIRE, she will facilitate all giving efforts on a corporate and community level, ensuring time, talents and "treasures" are being used to improve lives, the CU said.
"One of Abby’s initial projects as Giving Coordinator was the SPIRE Gives Big campaign. Recognizing the deep impact COVID-19 has caused throughout Minnesota, SPIRE donated $250,000 to 187 Minnesota businesses and charities. She worked with each of SPIRE’s 300 employees among 20 branches and 20 administrative departments to select local businesses and charities. The initiative empowered staff to give big, allowing employees to have a personal connectiontothis initiative, and see their impact first hand," the CU said. Patterson joined the SPIRE family in 2016 as Marketing Specialist, moving into the Senior Marketing Specialist role in 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.), Communication Studies from Minnesota State University, Mankato. “I love working at SPIRE!” she said. “Since day one, I’ve felt like I joined a family. I know I’m lucky to say that I love going to work every day.”
