ARLINGTON, Va.—The Partnership Federal Credit Union raised more than $2,000 in donations for new art supplies for patients at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Children’s National Medical Center reached out to the credit union asking for help collecting new art supplies for patients to use to pass the time during their treatments and hospital stays. In just over two weeks throughout the month of April, the Credit Union was able to fulfill the need with their successful “Donation for Imagination” membership drive.
The Partnership FCU said it actively fundraises as a part of Credit Unions for Kids, the national non-profit collaboration of credit unions united to raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Throughout the year, The Partnership FCU will fundraise specifically for their local hospital, Children’s National Medical Center, the champions for pediatric healthcare for more than 140 years in the nation’s capital.
