HARRISONBURG, Va.—Park View Federal Credit Union has named financial services veteran Hina Khalid as its new chief financial officer, adding an executive with more than 20 years of banking and credit union experience as the credit union continues to position itself for long-term growth.
Khalid most recently served as chief financial officer at Labor Credit Union. During her career, she has also held leadership positions with Merrill Lynch, Purdue University, Purdue Federal Credit Union, Industrial Federal Credit Union and Amalgamated Bank of Chicago. Park View President and CEO John Beiler said Khalid's broad industry background will strengthen the credit union and support its focus on members' financial well-being.
“As a CFO who looks beyond the numbers to the people behind them, I'm drawn to Park View's people-first culture,” Khalid said. “The credit union represents the ideal blend of deep community values and modern financial ambition, and I'm excited to pair innovative technology with a high-touch human approach to help position it for continued growth and long-term success.”
Beyond her executive experience, Khalid has served on the board of the MD/DC Credit Union Association's Washington, D.C., chapter and volunteered with DORA Financial, a credit union service organization focused on expanding access to mainstream financial services. She also serves on advisory boards for AiVantage, CU Insight and Algebrik AI. Khalid holds an MBA in Strategic Management from Purdue University and was selected following a regional search conducted by executive search firm DDJ Myers.
