HARRISONBURG, Va.-Park View Federal Credit Union lived out its heritage of “Neighbors Serving Neighbors” by observing Veteran’s Day in active service to the community. PVFCU hosted a Community Connection service day on Nov. 11 to show their appreciation to many who have served the community, country and world.
PVFCU employees, along with employees from some member businesses served a total of 325 hours together around the community. Volunteers helped with tasks such as fall yard and garden work, sorting donations and books, food preparation, maintenance projects, painting, cleaning, assisting with classroom preparation, and wood splitting.
