CONCORD, Calif.- Pacific Service Credit Union raised $15,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society during this year’s Light the Night walk.
The annual fundraising campaign brought together friends, families and co-workers to form walk teams, with participants carrying illuminated lanterns in varying colors to represent a supporter, those walking in memory of a loved one, or a survivor.
This year’s walk included participants from nearly 150 communities and raised funds for critical research to help stop blood cancer. Together, participants across the nation raised more than $61 million last year to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
