CONCORCD, Calif.–Pacific Service Credit Union (Pacific Service CU) donated more than $125,000 to various non-profit organizations that serve the Bay Area and several surrounding counties.
To spread holiday cheer, Pacific Service CU said it is finishing its 2017 charitable donations program by focusing their charitable efforts toward a few local non-profit organizations to help those in need during the holidays. Through the efforts of Pacific Service CU and its employees, they were able to donate a total of nearly $44,000 to the Bay Area Crisis Nursery, Youth Homes, Salvation Army, Monument Crisis Center, and the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano.
With its contribution, Pacific Service CU and their employees were able to provide 16,800 meals and 300 toys to the Salvation Army’s Forgotten Angel Tree program, purchase toys for the Bay Area Crisis Nursery, donate 24 $100 Amazon gift cards to Youth Homes, provide 1,800 Holiday Food Boxes for the Monument Crisis Center and donate more than $23,000 to the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano.
