PSECU Names Huntington Vice President, Head of Internal Audit

HARRISBURG, Penn.-- PSECU has promoted Nicholas Huntington to Vice President, Head of Internal Audit.

Huntington will lead the credit union’s Internal Audit Services Department and will be responsible for all aspects of the independent and objective internal audit functions that both improve and add value to the organization’s operations and processes.   

 

“Having served PSECU in various management roles since 2013, Nick Huntington has a solid understanding of the credit union and its operations. He also has a proven track record of delivering quality results, seen particularly through his most recent risk management positions,” said PSECU President George Rudolph. “As our new Vice President, Internal Audit, Nick will be a great asset in PSECU’s efforts to be recognized as members’ trusted financial partner. He’ll strive to strengthen our internal audit processes, allowing PSECU to best uphold accountability procedures, promote organizational growth, and safeguard members’ money while providing them with the products and services they need for financial success.”

Huntington is a dedicated professional services team leader with more than 10 years of experience in auditing, accounting, and risk management, including over five years specific to accounting and management in the credit union industry. Most recently serving as PSECU’s Financial Crimes Risk Officer, Huntington was responsible for establishing a financial crimes risk management unit within the credit union and overseeing anti-fraud and identity theft compliance programs. In previous roles with PSECU, Huntington planned and executed risk management programs and supervised numerous special projects. His past experience includes serving as Credit Union Services Manager and Senior Accountant for an accounting and professional services firm, the CU said.“PSECU is an organization that truly puts its members’ best interests first.
