CORVALLIS, Ore. –Oregon State Credit Union has recycled and distributed computer stations to better accommodate the staff at Corvallis nonprofit Community Outreach, Inc.
“The generosity of Oregon State Credit Union continues to make our services possible and this donation will allow our staff to more efficiently serve the thousands of people who come to us annually to bridge the gap between difficult times in their lives and a more stable future,” said Community Outreach Executive Director Kari Whitacre.
Since 1971, Community Outreach has served those who are homeless, or are at risk of homelessness through our mission of helping people to help themselves lead healthy and productive lives. COI provides food, shelter, medical and holistic support to 5,500 individuals in need every year in Benton, Linn, and Lincoln counties.
“The opportunity to meet the technological needs of so many worthwhile schools and nonprofits in our field of membership through the recycling of our computer inventory is extremely rewarding,” said Oregon State Credit Union President and CEO Richard Hein.
