OAK RIDGE, Tenn.– ORNL FCU has announced the winners of a photo contest it hosted.
In late 2018, ORNL Federal Credit Union announced the contest encouraging local photographers of any skill level to submit their best photos of the Eastern Tennessee region served by the credit union. Winning photos would be published in the Credit Union first annual monthly calendar. There were more than 200 submissions and judges narrowed the entries down to 40, which were then voted on by the public.
The top 12 photos have now been featured in ORNL FCU’s 2019 monthly calendar. Awards were given for the three photos with the most votes. The 2019 calendars were sold in all ORNL FCU branches with all proceeds benefitting the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. At the end of the campaign, over 1,000 calendars were sold and the funds were donated to the hospital totaling $5,300.
