BATTLE CREEK, Mich.– OMNI Community Credit Union has expanded its field of membership to the entire state of Michigan following approval by the state’s Department of Insurance and Financial Services.

OMNI said it began preparations for the anticipated membership expansion in the last quarter of 2020 by partnering with Banno, a fintech company specializing in digital banking platforms for community credit unions and banks. The new platform offers a consistent experience on mobile and desktop, a customizable dashboard, multifactor authentication at sign-in, and a clean, user-friendly design, according to OMNI.
