HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.—Nuvision Credit Union said its employees expanded volunteer and community outreach efforts during April’s National Volunteer Month, contributing time and resources through the credit union’s NuvisionCares initiative.
The $3.9-billion credit union said team members volunteered with organizations addressing food insecurity, including Bracken’s Kitchen in Orange County, Loaves and Fishes in Contra Costa County and Bean’s Café in Anchorage, Alaska. Employees also hosted financial literacy sessions for more than 100 students at Costa Mesa High School and participated in the Pleasanton Run for Education supporting classroom and teacher resources.
Nuvision said the effort builds on broader community engagement initiatives that in 2025 included more than 1,500 volunteer hours and participation in more than 100 community events impacting approximately 30,000 people. So far in 2026, more than 150 employees have logged more than 300 volunteer hours across more than 20 community events, according to the credit union.
“We’re celebrating every Nuvision team member who's volunteered across the states we serve, for their enduring commitment to community service,” CEO Roger Ballard said in a statement. Headquartered in Huntington Beach, Calif., Nuvision Credit Union operates 36 branches across California, Alaska, Arizona, Wyoming and Washington and serves more than 205,000 members.
