SPOKANE, Wash. - Numerica Credit Union has announced six promotions in order to provide continued growth for the credit union and its employees. A reorganization of Numerica has created opportunities for advancement and to encourage employees to continue to thrive within the credit union. In addition, two newly created functions offer continued focused to enhance lives, fulfill dreams and build communities for Numerica’s membership.
Cindy Leaver expands her role as Chief Financial Officer to now include Chief Strategy Officer. In this new position she will work in tandem with Numerica’s CEO Carla Altepeter to translate the credit union’s mission into actionable plans and is responsible for developing, communicating, executing and sustaining major initiatives. Leaver has been with Numerica for more than a decade and has more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry.
Jana Erny has been promoted to senior vice president of retail experience/lending and operations, Greg Hansen has been promoted to senior vice president of business services and Rob Stephens has been promoted to senior vice president of finance. Erny previously served as vice president for retail lending and loan operations. With her promotion she will now oversee Spokane and Idaho Retail Branches as well as branch operations. With more than 30 years of experience, Hansen will now be overseeing the Dealer Center in addition to business services. He has been with Numerica since 2010 and manages all commercial, investor real estate, SBA, small business and cash management functions. Stephens will continue his oversight of the Finance Department with responsibility over wealth management and investment services. He has been with the credit union since 2012.
Vice president for Numerica’s Central Washington region will now be Andy Stirling. Stirling has over 12 years of experience in the financial industry with nearly ten years in leadership/management roles. Most recently he was Numerica’s assistant vice president for the Central Washington region.
Jody Azevedo will assume a newly created position for Numerica as the assistant vice president of Digital Experience. Azevedo comes to this position with a great deal of experience in sales serving most recently as assistant vice president of business development for Numerica. In this new position, Jody will be responsible for the member service center and digital solutions at Numerica.
