HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.–Nuvision Credit Union’s NuvisionCares Helping Kids in Our Community Campaign, a month-long community-giving initiative, has provided support to a number of communities the credit union serves in California and Alaska.
Among them:
The annual clothing drive in Southern California, supporting the non-profit Robyne’s Nest, delivered hundreds of new clothing items to at-risk and homeless teen-aged students.
The credit union’s Anchorage Boot Drive, supporting the Clothesline Project, delivered 1,400 pairs of boots, hundreds of pairs of socks, and 500 stocking caps to children in the Anchorage area.
The credit union’s backpack drive in the Bay Area communities of Martinez and Berkeley, California provided approximately 70 backpacks filled with school supplies to elementary school-aged children.
In Southern California, Nuvision and its members donated 100 backpacks and much needed school supplies to the His Little Feet organization, to help kids in the local community.
