NuVision FCU Awards Scholarships To 10 Students

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.–NuVision Federal Credit Union has named the winners of its annual 2015 Scholarship Program. Ten Southern California students won scholarships worth $1,000 each, and were recognized together with their families at an awards ceremony held at NuVision’s Huntington Beach headquarters on July 21, 2015.

“We are excited at NuVision to more than double the size of our annual scholarship program this year, allowing us to recognize even more hard working and deserving students in our community,” said Attila Morgan, Manager of Community Involvement and Business Development at NuVision. “We are very proud to support these young adults as they continue to achieve their educational and professional goals.”

Miss Huntington Beach, Claire Epting, was in attendance and spoke to the group about her journey as Miss Huntington Beach and how important a scholarship program can be for young people pursing higher education.
