HERNDON, Va.–Northwest FCU, in conjunction with the Town of Herndon, announced it will host the 2019 Herndon Festival onsite in 2019. The credit union was the Title Sponsor of the 2018 Herndon Festival.
“We were honored to be selected by the Mayor and Town Council to host the 2019 Herndon Festival,” said Northwest Federal’s President and CEOJeff Bentley. “We are proud to be a part of the Herndon community and to continue the tradition of the Herndon Festival into its 39th year.”
The Herndon Festival is one of Northern Virginia’s largest free events, bringing together members of the community for live entertainment, business and craft expos, carnival rides and more. Northwest Federal will partner with the Herndon Parks and Recreation Department to develop the event.
“Through years of participating in and sponsoring the Herndon Festival we have seen the way it fosters a sense of community in the town and surrounding area,” said Northwest Federal’s SVP of Enterprise Outreach, Victoria Gillespie. “We look forward to hosting and strengthening our relationships with the Town of Herndon and its many civic and volunteer groups.”
