Northwest FCU Foundation Collects School Supplies

HERNDON, Va.–The Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation is reporting this year it collected more than 11,000 school supplies and more than $500 in monetary donations for its annual school supply drive. Supplies and funds benefitted Dogwood Elementary School in Reston, the AVID program at Sterling Middle School, the Herndon Neighborhood Resource Center and the INMED Opportunity Center in Sterling.

“The Foundation is proud to be an Ignite Partner with Fairfax County Public Schools, and a member of the Loudoun School-Business Partnership,” said Executive Director of the NWFCU Foundation Kaycee Childress. “We thank the members and employees of Northwest Federal Credit Union, and the employees of our community partners Odin, Feldman & Pittleman and Whitney, Bradley & Brown for their generosity and giving spirit that helped so many young members of our communities.”
