VIRGINIA/HOYT LAKES/BIWABIK/ELY, Minn.– Northridge Community Credit Union and the East Range Rotary Club presented a check for $1,218 to Project Elf.
The East Range Rotary and NRCCU partnered to match any donations made at all four NorthRidge branches, dollar for dollar, with all proceeds benefiting the Project Elf’s 2017 season.
Through Project Elf, Mesabi East students collect donations and then use the funds to help less-fortunate families in the school district have a brighter holiday season. Last year, with the help of our communities, Project Elf was able to help 33 families, the credit union reported.
Project Elf is funded strictly through the generosity of various companies, civic organizations, church groups, and individuals in our communities in the form of monetary donations, gift items, food and other items needed.
