CHESTERFIELD, Mo.--NewGround reported Mike Crane will lead the Project Management Team as Senior Vice President of Construction.
With over 17 years of international retail project management, real estate services, and multi-family residential construction, Crane's Chicago-based role will manage NewGround’s expanding Project Management Team. His position is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, training, and managing all the functions of project management and implementation for NewGround and to lead the business unit to achieve company objectives for growth, revenue and profitability.

In his previous role as Director of Operations at JLL, Crane was responsible for the facilities and project management service delivery for two global pharmaceutical companies, expanding the footprint and services in North America, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. His global experience included managing high-producing teams in these areas in account management, project development/management, and strategic planning. He was also a founding member of VetNet, JLL’s Business Resource Group that actively recruits and mentors veterans to advance their post-military careers.

Crane served as an active duty Military Intelligence Officer in roles from Platoon Leader to Operations Officer in Afghanistan, Kosovo, and Germany and is a recipient of the Bronze Star for meritorious service as a U.S. liaison. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois-Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering from the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.
