CHESTERFIELD, Mo.–NewGround announced the appointment of Mark Maness to Regional Vice President of Business Development.
Based in the Atlanta area, Maness' primary responsibility
will be to lead business development activities for the southeast region of the United States.
Mark will continue to grow NewGround’s portfolio by implementing long and short-term strategies to secure new business and identify additional opportunities with previous clients, the company said.
With more than 30 years of overall experience in sales and marketing, Maness worked for International Paper Distribution and served as co-owner of a full-service design/build construction business that helped develop community banks and credit unions across the southeast.
“The addition of Mark to the NewGround team reflects our continued growth and commitment to our clients,” said Jeff Winter, Senior Vice President of Business Development at NewGround. “Mark brings valuable industry experience through his expansive portfolio of developing relationships along the southeastern region—giving him the edge we need to continue breaking into those markets.”
Maness earned a Bachelor of Arts in journalism from the University of Georgia and attended International Paper’s Keystone Business School, an internal Executive MBA Program.
