NewGround Adds Three to its Team

CHESTERFIELD, Mo.--NewGround has added three people to its team.

The company appointed Julia Weigard as Project Manager for Studio One25’s Retail Design Team.

Based in Chicago, she will be the key link between the account, creative, and installation teams, managing retail projects throughout each phase. she will also align the appropriate resources for each project, assess projects to identify obstacles, and implement design solutions.

“I am thrilled to join Studio One25’s Retail Design Team and can’t wait to bring projects to life by managing their process from start to finish,” said Weigard.

With over seven years of experience, she has been responsible for the management of several projects, providing technical expertise, estimating through fabrication and installation, and establishing client relationships.

“We are happy to welcome Julia to our Retail Design Team to focus on expanding Studio One25’s capabilities and design efforts,” said Brad Ritner, Director of Retail Design at NewGround.

NewGround has reappointed Marius Ardelean to Senior Architectural Specialist. Based in Canada, he will oversee the preparation of architectural construction documents, coordinate project activities, and review the work of mechanical, electrical, and interior departments. With over 12 years of experience in architecture, planning, and construction, he has worked on largescale projects throughout the entirety of their life cycle, from design and construction documentation to project completion. “I’m excited to continue my career with NewGround and am happy to be back on the team in Canada among some of the most talented people in the industry,” said Ardelean.

The company announced that Stacey Hempfling joined the NewGround team as Senior Project Accountant, reporting to Linda Wolf. She will perform various accounting functions that are primarily related to Strategy, Design, and Delivery department projects. She will also support NewGround’s construction and project managers. In this new role, she will be involved with company-wide project set up, project cost analysis, project revenue, cost reporting, project invoicing, and billing. She joins NewGround with over nine years of experience in finance. “I am excited for this opportunity to work with NewGround and look forward to contributing to the success of the organization,” said Hempfling.
