New Orleans Firemen’s Federal Credit Union Wins Gold and Multiple Silver Anthem Awards

NEW ORLEANS--New Orleans Firemen’s Federal Credit Union has bee honored with four national Anthem Awards—one Gold and three Silver—recognizing the credit union’s groundbreaking commitment to financial equity, member care, and community empowerment.

The Anthem Awards, an extension of the Webby Awards, celebrate the world’s most impactful purpose-driven organizations. Submissions come from more than 40 countries across mission-centered sectors such as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, Community Engagement, Health, Humanitarian Action, and Responsible Technology.

NOFFCU’s wins position the credit union as a national leader in social impact, earning acclaim for elevating the financial well-being of first responders, teachers, health-care workers, underserved communities, and families confronting medical and economic hardship, the CU said.

This local implementation of the Life Over Debt model ensures that NOFFCU members battling cancer can focus on healing—not bills—through a combination of payment relief, financial counseling, and compassionate support.
