NEW ORLEANS — New Orleans Firemen’s Federal Credit Union has been named a finalist in multiple categories of the annual Anthem Awards—an event that honors the impact of mission-driven organizations worldwide.
The credit union is up for three awards: two for product innovation, and another for community engagement. Winners are selected by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, in addition to a separate public vote which is open now.
“Recognition like this is less about winning awards, and more about highlighting the credit union difference on a global scale,” said Judy DeLucca, NOFFCU’s president and CEO.
“This is what credit unions do, each and every day: we seek out the communities that are overlooked and underserved, and find new, innovative ways to reach and support them. Being a finalist in not one but three categories is an incredible honor, and it gives us three times the opportunity to showcase what our system is all about.”
