WALLINGFORD, Conn.–– The New Haven Chapter of Connecticut’s Credit Unions recently donated $4,000 to Master’s Manna in Wallingford. Funds are raised each year by the Connecticut Credit Union Charitable Foundation, the mission of which is to help feed those in need throughout the state of Connecticut.
“I cannot express enough how grateful we are to receive such support from Connecticut’s Credit Unions,” said Cheryl Trzcinski, CEO, Master’s Manna. “These funds will help us continue to be the community’s safety net and provide essential services to people in need.”
Master’s Manna, Inc. is a faith-based not-for-profit established in Wallingford to serve homeless, near homeless, low to moderate income families and individuals living in the greater Wallingford/Meriden area. Master’s Manna strives to reduce food insecurity, offer both mental health and physical health support services, offer intervention services and educational opportunities, and other community needs.
