CONCORD, N.H.–New Hampshire FCU’s Center for Finance & Education hosted a financial literacy fair with students from Granite State Independent Living's IMPACCT program. Students had to make real-life financial decisions based on their selected careers' monthly take home pay. Students made decisions about housing, transportation, food, entertainment, clothing, utilities and much more.
The students also met with NHFCU representatives for a mock car buying class. Students went through choosing cars, negotiating prices, and applying for loans.
