WILLISTON, Vt.– For the sixth year in a row, New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) has been voted “Best Bank/Credit Union” by the readers of Seven Days, Vermont’s award-winning weekly newspaper. In addition, this year, for the fourth year in a row, NEFCU won the DAYSIE as “Best Mortgage Broker.” The contest is the only one of its kind in Vermont and the DAYSIE Awards, based solely on readers’ votes, are highly coveted.
Every year the paper’s readers vote for the “Best in Vermont” in numerous categories. This year, 9,385 people cast 572,306 individual votes in 172 categories. The winners were officially announced in the August 2-3 issue of the paper.
