LAS VEGAS–The Nevada Credit Union League’s Southern Nevada Chapter recently elected Mo Nemati as chapter president,
and re-elected Julie Goe as secretary and Christie Jordan as treasurer. Nemati, Goe, and Jordan are all from Clark County Credit Union in Las Vegas.
Former Chapter president Janeen Hodgson of Silver State Schools Credit Union in Las Vegas will remain active on the board, but will not hold an office.
On Wednesday, Oct. 5, the Chapter hosted an FBI Dinner event in which Special Agent Cynthia Santana presented information about the FBI, its mission, priorities, and discussed some specifically complex financial crimes.
The event attracted 35 credit union employees from six different credit unions—Clark County Credit Union, Credit Union 1, SCE Federal Credit Union, America First Federal Credit Union, Boulder Dam Credit Union, and Silver State Schools Credit Union.
