ST. LOUIS–Neighbors Credit Union hosted three free Credit Report Seminars. Tracy Lindhorst, Assistant Vice President of Lending from Neighbors Credit Union conducted all three educational seminars. The seminars explained what a credit report and credit score is and how to systematically read them. Attendees learned where consumer-reporting agencies get their information and what factors are used to calculate their score. Each registered guest received free educational materials and a copy of their own credit report and credit score to follow along with during the presentation. After each seminar, members were able to discuss their credit reports with a Neighbors’ specialist and have their personal questions answered. Two lucky winners at each seminar walked away with gift cards as prizes. Each seminar was proven to be a success with a combined turnout of approximately 100 attendees.
