SOMERVILLE, Mass.–For the sixth consecutive year, Naveo Credit Union participated in the Miracle Jeans Day initiative to raise funds for Boston Children’s Hospital, the local Miracle Network hospital. During September, Naveo joined hundreds of organizations and raised nearly $2,000 from employees and members. Naveo then matched the employee donations.
The Miracle Jeans Day collection, which took place during September, allowed Naveo employees to trade in their business attire for jeans in exchange for a donation to Boston Children’s Hospital. Throughout the donation period, branches were equipped with canisters to collect donations from members.
“Miracle Jeans Day is a fundraiser our employees and members have come to look forward to each year. We are always impressed at the generosity level of our members who make this our biggest fundraiser of the year. We look forward to raising even more money for Boston Children’s Hospital next year,” commented Rui Domingos, Chief Executive Officer of Naveo Credit Union.
