SOMERVILLE, Mass.– For the fifth consecutive year, Naveo Credit Union participated in the Miracle Jeans Day initiative to raise funds for Boston Children’s Hospital, the local Miracle Network hospital. During September, Naveo joined hundreds of organizations and raised more than $2,200 from employees and members. Naveo then matched the employee donations.
The Miracle Jeans Day collection allowed Naveo employees to trade in their business attire for jeans in exchange for a donation to Boston Children’s Hospital. Throughout the donation period, branches were equipped with canisters to collect donations from members.
“Miracle Jeans Day has come to be an annual fundraiser our employees and members look forward to participate in. Our members were extremely generous this year, making it our biggest collection thus far. We are proud and happy to support such a heartwarming cause which directly impacts the children in our local community,” commented Rui Domingos, Chief Executive Officer of Naveo Credit Union.
