WESTBURY, N.Y.– Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union celebrated the move of its East Meadow branch to its new location at 2575 Hempstead Turnpike on Saturday with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Grand Opening Celebration. The festivities included a presentation of proclamations from local elected officials, entertainment by K98.3 radio, autographs by former New York Giants punter Sean Landeta, a caricature artist and a balloon twister, as well as raffles by Nassau Financial that include a $25K digital scratch off game and various gift card prizes.
Nassau Financial’s President and CEO, John T. DeCelle, was present along with the CU’s board, management team and staff to celebrate the new East Meadow location, which includes four Interactive Teller Machines, nine video displays, a coin machine, four charging stations with free Wi-Fi, plus a free coffee bar. Celebration offers included special rates on certificates, loans, and checking accounts, plus rebates on real estate loans and auto refinance loans.
“The technology we’ve implemented at our new East Meadow location is state of the art” said DeCelle.
“We are well-equipped to serve East Meadow and the surrounding community with the best that a financial institution can offer. Our members have embraced using the four Interactive Teller Machines to conduct their teller transactions at the East Meadow branch, and the video displays that we installed consistently initiate conversations about how we can best serve our members, both financially, and in the community.”
