WESTBURY, N.Y. -- Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union has awarded $8,000 in college scholarships to four high school seniors. The student members of Nassau Financial were chosen based on their outstanding academic and extracurricular achievements.
Nassau Financial hosted a reception for the scholarship winners and their families.
“We are very pleased to award these scholarships to our hard-working student members,” said John T. DeCelle, President and CEO of Nassau Financial. “They are building a strong future by pursuing higher education and we wish them much success,” DeCelle said.
The high school seniors who received the awards are: Brooke Barrett, Sydney Cassano, Kimberly Foley, and Carissa Giuliano, who was also awarded a $1,000 state-wide scholarship from the NY Credit Union Association in addition to the $2,000 scholarship awarded by Nassau Financial.
