ALEXANDRIA, Va.– NRL Federal Credit Union (NRLFCU) has been honored with a Category’s Best Award in the Diamond Awards competition hosted by the CUNA Marketing & Business Development Council.
NRLFCU won the Email – Single or Series category for its entry, entitled 5 Golden Cha-chings. The email campaign was created to promote the credit union’s convenient remote and electronic services that would be helpful to members during the busy holiday season while also finding creative ways to reward them for participation.
Over the course of five days preceding the Christmas holiday, members received emails encouraging enrollment and use in various services such as the mobile banking app, mobile deposit, the NRLFCU debit card, and online member referrals, NRL FCU said. The Credit Union then randomly rewarded lucky members with $250 cash for their participation. The program was so well received by members the credit union said it is planning on bringing back in 2020 promising an even bigger and betterversion.
