NEFCU Makes Donations to 4 Groups

WILLISTON, Vt.— Noting giving back to the communities it serves has long been central to its mission, New England FCU noted that as an ongoing part of its effort, four times each year it  selects four recipient organizations at random to receive $625 each, for a total of $10,000 annually.

NEFCU’s community giving donations for the first quarter of 2021 were:

AgeWell

AgeWell provides older Vermonters with the necessary support to manage their daily living needs, with the goal of keeping them active, healthy, and independent. A wide array of programs enhances quality of life and improves health outcomes as well.

Lucy’s House for the Prevention of Homeless Pets

Lucy’s House strives to keep pets in their original homes with their owners. The organization provides food, medical support, emergency care, and help with behavior issues that might lead to abandonment.

Lund Early Childhood Care & Education Program

Children who participate in a high-quality, early childhood program like Lund’s tend to achieve higher levels of education, socioeconomic status, and health insurance coverage. Lower rates of substance abuse, felony arrest, and incarceration are also outcomes.

Sail Beyond Cancer
