WILLISTON, Vt.— New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) has named the three winners of the 2019 NEFCU Nursing Scholarships. Each year, NEFCU’s Nursing Scholarship Program provides three scholarships of $3000 each to qualified applicants.
The winners:
- Hanna Hurtubise, a senior at Richford Junior Senior High School, will be attending the University of Vermont.
- Bidhya Chamlagai, a sophomore at the University of Vermont, is pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.
- Tenzin Tsephal, a Licensed Practical Nurse who currently works at a local senior living facility, will be attending Vermont Technical College in the fall to pursue his Associate degree in Nursing.
