Municipal Credit Union Cuts Ribbon on New Branch

NEW YORK CITY -- Municipal Credit Union (MCU) has expanded its footprint in Queens, cutting the ribbon on its new St. Albans branch. The branch is MCU's third branch in Queens and 18th overall.

State Senator Leroy Comrie and NYS DFS Deputy Superintendent for Community and Regional Banks Yolanda Ford joined MCU President/CEO Kam Wong, MCU Board Chair James Durrah, and members of MCU's Board of Directors in cutting the ribbon on the new branch located at 188-39 Linden Blvd.

The 4,000-square foot branch features many high-tech banking tools including an interactive e-banking center, touch screen displays, and Instant Deposit ATMs. The branch is also staffed with teller stations and Member Service Representatives for personal banking assistance.

“We are so proud to cut the ribbon on our St. Albans branch today and pleased to expand our footprint in Queens, where many of our members live and work," said MCU President/CEO Kam Wong. “Our members deserve convenient and efficient in-branch banking, and this new branch delivers both. We know everyone will appreciate the advanced technology banking options featured in this branch, as well as the convenience of having an MCU branch in their neighborhood."

“MCU's mission is Strong, Trusted, Growing, and today, as we cut the ribbon on our new branch, we are showing we value and live that mission daily. We are excited to expand our presence in Queens and look forward to being better able to serve our members and new members in our St. Albans location," added MCU Board Chair James Durrah.
