Mountain CU Renovating Branch

FRANKLIN, N.C.– Mountain Credit Union is proud to announce an upcoming renovation project that it said will enhance the overall member experience at its Franklin Branch.

“This exciting remodel will not only modernize the branch but also provide improved functionality and convenience for members,” the credit union said. “The Franklin Branch has been a vital part of the Macon County community since 1987 when Macon Citizens Credit Union was merged into what was then called Mountain Federal Credit Union. This renovation project demonstrates Mountain Credit Union's commitment to continually improving their services and facilities to better serve their members.”

The branch remodel will feature a range of enhancements designed to create a more welcoming and efficient environment for both current and future members.

“The updated branch will boast a fresh design that creates an inviting atmosphere and will reflect the credit hnion's commitment to staying current with the latest trends in member service,” MCU said. “Renovations will also include adding the latest technology, including enhanced front line equipment, that will streamline the member experience.”

"We are thrilled to embark on this journey to provide our members with an even better experience,” said Branch Manager Cody Rodgers. “The remodel will not only improve the physical aspects of the branch but also enable us to offer more innovative and convenient services to our members."

Beginning Oct. 10, the branch will move to a temporary building already under construction at the rear of the current location. This temporary building will continue to offer a high level of service during remodel with the same number of staff and the same business hours. Drive through service and an onsite 24-hour ATM will also be available.
