SAN DIEGO – Mission FCU raised $215,000 during a month-long Holiday Giving Fundraiser.
The funds raised will benefit three community partners. The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank, San Diego Rescue Mission, and The Salvation Army San Diego County will each receive a portion of the funds raised.
The nonprofit organizations were presented with a check at Mission Fed’s top performing branch in Rancho San Diego.
“Throughout the pandemic, the credit union industry has again proven that we are first and foremost a community-driven financial services industry,” said Debra Schwartz, president and CEO of Mission Fed. “We are in unprecedented times. I strongly believe as a dedicated corporate and community citizen, we are blessed to be able to support these three community partners who are doing so much to help San Diegans in need.”
