Mid-Hudson Valley Awards Scholarship

KINGSTON, N.Y. – Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union (MHV) is pleased to announce that Grace Tremper has been awarded its Annual Scholarship.

The MHV Annual Scholarship is awarded to a member of the credit union who is graduating high school and will be attending a two- or four-year accredited college in the Fall. Students submit an application package to include an essay focused on the People Helping People credit union philosophy.

“MHV is dedicated to helping young adults academically,” said Wayne Winkler, President and CEO of MHV. “We think it's very important for students to fulfill their educational goals and ambitions as they are the leaders of tomorrow.”

Tremper, a member of MHV’s Main Kingston Branch, is set to graduate from Kingston High School and will be attending SUNY Ulster in the Fall. She plans to major in biology with the goal of working in the medical field. While a student at Kingston High School, Tremper played varsity volleyball and softball while maintaining a competitive GPA. She lives in Kingston with her parents and her brother, Sam.
