Michigan CU Foundation Provides Funding for Management School Attendance

LANSING, Mich. – – The Michigan Credit Union Foundation (MCUF) will provide funding for six Michigan credit union professionals to attend CUNA Management School in Madison, Wis.

In addition to other community reinvestment grants and professional development scholarships, MCUF annually awards six CUNA Management School scholarships to credit union employees who have displayed a commitment to professional development in service of the credit union movement. This year’s scholarship recipients are 

  • · Lori Little, Gerber Federal Credit Union (Fremont, Mich.)
  • · Jessica Richards, Awakon Federal Credit Union (Onaway, Mich.)
  • · Kathleen Ando, Total Community Credit Union (Taylor, Mich.)
  • · Corrie Rozell, Marshall Community Credit Union (Marshall, Mich.)
  • · Dawn Juahfetson, Baraga County Federal Credit Union (L’Anse, Mich.)
  • · Rob Boomershine, KALSEE Credit Union (Kalamazoo, Mich.)

“Though our mission statements may differ, all credit unions can agree that educating our members, building stronger communities and encouraging financial well-being is at the heart of our movement,” said Michigan Credit Union League CEO Dave Adams, “It’s gratifying to help these six recipients; they each embody the ‘people helping people’ philosophy.”
