ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Michigan Business Connection has named Cheryl A. Commyn Chief Financial Officer.
Commyn joined MBC in January as MBC’s CFO. Her responsibilities will consist of leading financial reporting, regulatory compliance, risk management and all other accounting activities for MBC. She has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industry. Throughout her career her professional focus has been on finance and risk management. Prior to joining MBC, Commynl was the Chief Information Officer at Main Street Bank. While there, she was responsible for managing the bank’s information security and enterprise risk management programs. Commyn also has extensive experience in commercial lending oversight, asset liability risk management and financial reporting. In previous roles, she has also served as Chief Financial Officer for Christian Financial Credit Union (CFCU).
