Member One Exec Team Volunteers at Lynchburg Daily Bread

ROANOKE, Va.–The Member One executive team volunteered at Lynchburg Daily Bread, a non-profit organization in downtown Lynchburg, Va. They served meals to 92 guests in support of Lynchburg Daily Bread’s mission to provide a healthy and hot meal to the hungry in the community.

This volunteer support was preceded by a recent donation of $1,000 to Lynchburg Daily Bread as part of Member One’s quarterly Denim Days for Charities, where employees donate a minimum of $5 in exchange for wearing jeans on a specific day.

“The leadership of Member One is pleased to volunteer in the communities we serve,” said Nick Hart, Director of Marketing & Business Development. “We especially appreciate the effort of all our employees who recognize the importance of giving back.”

As part of the Member One benefits package, employees are allotted eight hours per year of paid volunteer time. Each member of the executive team has made a commitment to fully use their volunteer time in 2017 and will encourage all employees (approximately 240) to use theirs as well. That means more than 1,900 hours of valuable volunteer time could be generated to make a big impact in southwest and central Virginia.
