ROANOKE, Va.–During December 2015, Member One FCU featured a newspaper ad in the Roanoke Times that asked readers to color in the provided holiday artwork with a message to a loved one. Readers were asked to take a picture of the final product and post to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #MOHappyHolidays. The participant was also asked to tag their favorite local non-profit organization or charity in the post.
At the completion of the contest, Lexi Stull was selected as the winner and awarded a $100 VISA gift card. Member One also awarded $1,000 to Lexi’s favorite charity, the Roanoke Valley SPCA.
