ROANOKE, Va.–Member One Federal Credit Union hosted the grand opening and ribbon-cutting celebration at its newest retail center in Forest, Va.
This event was heavily attended by members of the community, including the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, the Lynchburg Alliance, and Member One employees. The official ribbon cutting, led by the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce, began at 10 a.m. and was streamed live on Member One’s Facebook page.
The Forest retail center is located in a storefront location within The Shoppes at Jefferson Crossing, a 20,000+ square foot retail development adjacent to Walmart Marketplace on Forest Road (Route 221).
Terry Maddox, Market Manager, planned the event to include several giveaways from local businesses, door prizes for attendees, and refreshments throughout the day.
“I was thrilled with the turnout for this grand opening,” said Maddox. “We are honored to be a part of the Forest community, and this overwhelmingly warm welcome is encouraging as we continue to expand our footprint in central Virginia.”
