McGraw-Hill FCU Raises $54,000 For VOICE Foundation

EAST WINDSOR, N.J. – McGraw-Hill FCU recently held its 12th Annual Golf Classic, raising more than $54,000 for the VOICE Foundation, the credit union’s charitable giving association. More than 70 golfers took to the course at the prestigious Tournament Players Club Jasna Polana in Princeton, N.J. to support the Foundation.

“The lack of financial education is a significant problem in our nation and in particular with young people. The VOICE Foundation, through our partnerships, empowers families in communities to achieve financial wellness and improve their overall financial health,” said Joy Beans, VOICE Foundation chair. “The VOICE Foundation, through events like our Golf Classic, raise the funds needed to support financial education programs for consumers and educators in the greater NY/NJ area.”

Since its inception in 2009, the VOICE Foundation has raised more than $550,000 in support of financial health and wellness programs. The Foundation supports: Children’s Miracle Network, First Book Manhattan, National Junior Tennis and Learning of Trenton (NJTLT), and McGraw-Hill Federal Credit Union’s own Tyler G. Hicks Scholarship Program.
