AUGUSTA, Maine–Maine State Credit Union has been rated with a top 10 ranking on the 100 Best Places to Work in Maine list.
Listed at number eight, MSCU is the only credit union in the top 10 for the medium-employer category and the first financial institution.

On the list since 2012, Maine State CU employees are surveyed about their experience with the organization each year. The process is several steps. The Best Companies Group assesses each employer, they are then given an employer questionnaire, and after they meet eligibility criteria, their employees are surveyed.
“When employees are happy, members are happy,” added VP-Training & Development Amanda Crommett. “We invest in our employees so that they invest back into our culture, organizations, and members.”
In 2021, Maine State Credit Union employees completed more than 6,000 hours of training and development and are slated to complete over 6,500 in 2022.
