PORTLAND, Maine - At the Maine CU League's 78th Annual Meeting in Portland, Tucker Cole, President/CEO of Maine State CU, was elected to a three-year term to serve as a Director on the Maine CU League Board of Directors.
The Board held a brief meeting following the Annual Meeting to elect its 2016/17 Table Officers.
Elected unanimously by the Board to one-year terms for the following positions were: Chair - Richard Lachance , President/CEO of Connected CU; Vice Chair – Kyle Casburn, President/CEO of Seaboard FCU; Secretary

David Desjardins, President/CEO of Acadia FCU; and Treasurer – Scott Chretien, President/CEO of York County FCU.
Lachance, who has served as Vice Chair of the Board for the past three years, said he is “honored to have been selected to serve as Board Chair for the upcoming year. The Board provides a strong support system and leadership for the Maine Credit Union System. I look forward to my role in helping to facilitate the vision for the next year. Maine’s credit unions are very strong, and continue to serve Maine consumers well, so we are well-positioned as a Board to work to continue that growth."
