EAST LANSING, Mich. — MSU Federal Credit Union (MSUFCU) and the Desk Drawer Fund foundation have announced the winner of the Q2 2023 Desk Drawer Fund Member Raffle. Elizabeth Tabor was named the winner of $20,000 as the raffle prize.
“When I purchased the ticket, I never imagined that I would win,” said Tabor. “It was my lucky day.”
Throughout the year, MSUFCU and Oakland University Credit Union members have a chance to win up to $20,000 in the quarterly Desk Drawer Fund Member Raffles when they purchCU Credit Union’s branches. The second-quarter raffle saw 2,050 tickets sold, raising a total of $41,000 for the Desk Drawer Fund.
“With a portion of the funds going to one lucky winner each quarter, the other half of the funds raised are donated back to the communities the foundation and the credit union serve,” MSUFCU said. “By purchasing raffle tickets, Credit Union members are supporting the foundation’s mission to contribute to the public good and make a positive impact in our communities.”

It offers opportunities for Credit Union members, employees, and businesses to contribute to the public well-being through five philanthropic pillars — Arts and Culture, Stable Housing, Empowering Youth, Financial Education, and Fostering Entrepreneurialism.
In 2022, the Desk Drawer Fund donated more than $487,000 to philanthropic causes and organizations.
