GERMANTOWN, Md.– Montgomery County Employees Federal Credit Union (MCEFCU) announced that Amazon Echo users are now able to ask Alexa various questions and perform credit union-related tasks without having to open a mobile banking app or log on to their computer. MCEFCU said it become an early adopter of this technology and is likely to see many enhancements and additions to it in the future.
“We’re thrilled to offer our members this exclusive experience on Amazon Echo,” said Jorge Saenz, Director of Digital Banking for MCEFCU. “MC EFCU works hard to provide our members with the most up-to-date, cutting-edge financial technology. Offering this skill with Alexa is another step in that direction.”
Users of Amazon Echo will be able to ask Alexa questions such as how they can become an MCEFCU member, what bills they can pay with MC EFCU or what security tips they might have, the credit union said.
