JACKSON, Mich.–Roger Harris was selected as the winner of the 2016 Indian Scout Giveaway by Michigan Community CU.
“I was shocked,” Harris said, as he explained his reaction during a radio interview with the credit union.
The Indian Scout Giveaway occurred at TC Powersports in Michigan Center, Mich. Registration for the giveaway began in late April with two methods of entry. On the day of the giveaway, registrants were randomly narrowed down to three contestants. After that, the three remaining each opened a locked box. These boxes each contained one of the following: a $500 gift card to TC Powersports, a $1,000 gift card to TC Powersports, and the keys to the 2016 Indian Scout. The three contestants opened their boxes in unison, revealing the prize they won.
Michigan Community Credit Union said it was happy to award Roger Harris with the 2016 Indian Scout. This motorcycle giveaway event highlighted the effective and efficient partnership between Michigan Community Credit Union and TC Powersports, the CU said.
Harris was eager to start up the 2016 Wildfire Red Indian Scout as soon as he received the keys. Harris has been riding motorcycles for about 40 years, and recently sold his old bike. “I was beginning to save up for a down payment on a new one,” Harris said.
